Function Description:
* Suitable for PC 486/586/PII/PIII... PCI-BUS compatible system.
* LED inductor: CBE0, CBE1, CBE2, CBE3, RST(RESET), FRAME, IRDY, TRDY,
VCC, GND, +12V, -12V.
* Chose "POST"(POST=Power-On-Self-Test), ERROR CODE DISPLAY:
(1) DIGITs display for hexadecimal.
(2) Offer two I/O PORT 80H and 300H check point.
A.
Hardware Debug: Read BIOS check point value, compare with BIOS ERROR CODEMESSAGE, will know defective position.
B.
Software Debug: Use CV-25P for CHECK POINT display, can WRITE value to it,no need to interrupt program execution.
* Chose "STEP" for Step by step(trace) function:
(Must connect one signal to ISA-BUS I/O channel ready, see picture)
Use 32pcs LED display PCI-BUS AD0-AD31 in binary system.
(1) When ERROR CODE display nonsense code 00 or FF, can use CV-25P to check
PCI-BUS circuit correct or not.
(2) Can trace BIOS operation.
(3) Can check PCI-BUS circuit Open Short or not.
(4) Can check PCI-BUS shortage with other signals or not.
(5) Will know real address when system halted.
* R/W AD-BUS display:
Combine CBE0, CBE1, CBE2, CBE3, FRAME signals, select different BUS COMMAND,
trace different status AD-BUS signal.
CV-26P DEBUGGER-2
* All functions, operations, testing same as CV-25P.
* Difference: DIGITs display PCI AD-BUS codes in hexadecimal for easy view.
CV-27P DEBUGGER-2
* All functions, operations, testing same as CV-25P.
* Difference: With LED and DIGITs synchronous display PCI AD-BUS easier to know
all the status.
